Privacy Policy
Buildflic holds real project, financial and site data. This policy sets out plainly what we collect, why we hold it, and how it is protected.
01Who this policy is about
This policy explains how Buildflic Private Limited handles information when you use Buildflic, our AI construction project management product, and when you contact us or sign up through this website.
It covers two kinds of people: the visitors who reach out to us, and the customers whose project data runs inside the product.
02What we collect
When you request a demo or sign up, we collect the details you give us - your name, company, role, work email, the number of active projects you run and the tools you use today.
When you use the product, we hold the project data you put into it: schedules, budgets and cost figures, procurement and vendor details, subcontractor information, daily progress logs and the site photos you upload.
03How we use it
Demo and sign-up details are used to set up your account, send your login creation and details, and arrange the walkthrough you asked for.
Project data is used to run the engine on your behalf - tracking schedule and budget variance, projecting overruns, estimating progress from photos and coordinating procurement and trades. It is used to deliver the service to you, not repurposed for unrelated ends.
04Site photos and financial data
Site photos are used to estimate completion and cross-check reported progress. Financial figures are used to track spend against budget and project the final cost.
Both are treated as sensitive project data, protected with the same encryption and access controls as everything else you store with us.
05Email and third parties
We use a third-party email service to deliver transactional messages such as your login details and our replies to your enquiry. Only the information needed to send those messages is shared for that purpose.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share project data with third parties except where it is necessary to run the service or where the law requires it.
06How we protect it
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is scoped by role, so a site engineer, a contractor and a project owner each see only what is theirs to see.
We keep the set of people and systems that can reach your data as small as the service allows.
07How long we keep it
Project data is retained while your account is active, so you can look back across the life of a project. When an account is closed, data is removed on a defined schedule rather than held indefinitely.
Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to follow up on your request and to keep a record of our correspondence.
08Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to any records we are required to keep.
To make any of these requests, reach us through the contact page and we will respond.
09Changes to this policy
As the product and our practices develop, this policy may change. Where a change is material, we will make it clear rather than quietly amend the text.
Questions about your data?
If anything here is unclear or you have a specific requirement, reach us and we will answer plainly.
