Photo-based estimation is strongest on clearly visible, well-lit work - structure, blockwork, finishes in open view. It is weaker on covered or in-wall work a camera cannot see. That is deliberate: Buildflic treats the estimate as a prompt, not a verdict, and a site engineer's confirmation is what turns it into a progress update. The read gets sharper as more of your own site's photos build up.
